Employee Spotlight: Tania Campanelli, Director of Research and Development

Based in our Italian office, Tania leads a multi-national team devoted to improving ESPRIT.
Director of research and development Tania Campanelli joined DP at our Italian office in 2015. She’s committed her entire career to developing better products and processes, and we’re fortunate to enjoy her expertise every day. With both an undergraduate and a master’s degree in mathematics, she’s particularly gifted at solving difficult problems and implementing the best possible solutions.
Tania leads our multi-national software development and product engineering divisions, comprised of around 70 people. With team members in the US, Italy, France, Germany, and Russia, Tania’s professional training in agile methodologies serve her well. “My most important objective is to integrate, grow, and motivate every single team member,” she says. Tania also regularly works with other departments within DP, as well as ESPRIT resellers and customers. Tania enjoys the challenges that her position includes, as well as her role in contributing to the success of the ESPRIT product.

Although Tania is Italian, she’s spent time living in the United States and India as well. Outside of work, she enjoys theater, music, and reading, as well as keeping active on long hikes and walks. She and her teenage daughter recently completed the process to become a foster family, and they look forward to welcoming a new child soon!
